Welcome Spring!

Spring starts small at My Blue Cottage.  It cautiously peeks out
to see if winter is over.
Then the buttercups trumpet, "Spring is here."
The snowbells jingle in the wind, "Spring is here."
The flowering quince proclaimed, "Spring is here."

Then.....I knew it was here......

on a drive in the country.....when I had to stop my car....

there.......... was Spring!

Welcome Spring!
Love,
Lottie

  3. Indeed that would be a beautiful spring welcome to stop you in your tracks! We do have bougainvilleas here that bloom seasonally. Other than that, maybe some wildflowers (or weeds). As long as it is green or flowers, I allow it to grow amongst my potted plants. :) Hope you are having a great day. Tammy

  4. Thank you for visiting my blog Lottie. I am glad to see your spring flowers and to learn the name of one you have pictured, the snow bells. I have some that were here when we bought this house and now I am glad to know the name of them.

  5. Happy Spring, Lottie!!!!!!!! You made my day! Can I share your spring flowers until mine start to make a debut? I know it's getting closer, but it's still awfully cold here in my neck of the woods.

  6. Love that last pic--It has looked glorious here and I have been missing most of it, being laid up
with my foot. The wisteria, dogwood and azaleas are om full bloom here.
