Dreamsicle Mousse - Low calorie

This is a picture of a regular
Dreamsicle Orange Salad with
all the marshmallows and pine-
apple and regular Cool Whip.

It is.......good.  But I found
a recipe that I like much better!
I tweaked a Weight Watchers
recipe with my own version
and created a favorite dessert.

Dreamsicle Mousse

1 small box Sugar-free orange Jello
1 small box Sugar-free Cheesecake instant pudding
1 small can madarin oranges, drained
1 8oz. container lite Cool Whip

Dissolve Jello in 1 cup boiling water.  Add 1 cup cold water, mix
well.  Let set for 5 minutes.

Using an electric mixer, mix the dry pudding into the Jello until
well blended.  Fold in the mandarin oranges and the Cool Whip.
Chill for several hours till firm.  Makes at least 10 servings
at 1/2 cup per serving.  I serve it as a dessert.

If you're doing Weight Watchers, 1 cup = 2.5 points.

  1. Looks delicious! Thanks for making it low cal and figuring out the Weight Watcher points. I am going to have to make this one for sure!! I mentioned you in my Pink Saturday post. Hope it is all right! I had a hard time putting it all in words!
