Pink Sea Shells Lamp

Today is Pink Saturday over at Beverly's
How Sweet the Sound.

I love this little pink lamp with sea shells. My husband
and two little sons, age 8 and 10, went on a fishing
vacation during spring break in Sebastian, FL. about
fifteen years ago.  We stopped in a K-Mart store to
buy some fishing stuff for the boys when I turned
down the wrong aisle and came upon this cute little
pink lamp with sea shells.  I just had to have it!  My sons, on the other hand, were really mad at me for buying it! Those memories from that trip are why this lamp is so precious to me now! Thank you for visiting!   Lottie

  6. Now you are after my heart with this lamp. It would fit perfectly in my sea theme room.

Thanks for suggesting the Leap Year Movie. I am dying to see it. Any Movie that is filmed in Ireland I am sure to see. I just love seeing the beautiful scenery.

  11. They are actual shells inside? Nice! Oh why were they mad? Did you end up not buying things they'll use for the fishing? :-)

Gloomy and gray over in my neck of the woods today so all of the pinks shared this Saturday are so special and cheerful. They remind me that there are more colors than just white, gray and black.Your pinks are wonderful! My goodness - so special☺ That lamp should move to my house☺

I hope your weekend is filled with sunshine surrounded by the laugher of those you love.

Please pray for the people of Haiti. May God bless each and every soul.

  17. Shells and Pink - what could be better!! Elizabeth is adorable - we have 3 kitties (and 3 dogs)all rescued and we too love them dearly. There's nothing like a cat. Our last rescue kittie is a tortie and completely blind, but you would never know it - she does everything (and more than) the others do and is very much a precocious character. I'm sure Elizabeth is happy to have such a good home! Happy Pink Saturday!
