Honey, I shrunk the bloggers!

Remember that fun movie starring Rick Moranis
about a scientist who shrinks his children to 1/4
inch and takes them out with the trash?  The rest
of the movie is the journey of the children making
it back across the back yard, with friendly ants,
flying on a bumble bee and surviving giant rain drops!

                       What a fun movie!

Please forgive my silliness today, but I started thinking
about what it would be like
to take a walk in the yard,
but as a little person.
What about it?
Would you like to join me
for my walk today?

Do you mind if we get ....shrunk?
Ok, it's done!

Let's start at the snow bell forest.

Wow!
Things look different
from this point of view.

.....Beautiful!

I've never even seen the periwinkle ground
cover bloom.   And I feel like I could climb
into one of these pale pink tulips and take
a little nap.

In fact, I feel pretty good right now considering
I've been shrunk.  Here comes another tulip
forest.

Oh, No!

Here comes Natalie!

Go away kitty!

Let's hide behind the yellow tulips!

She can't find us!  Let's run back to the snow bell forest and grow up!

Run!

Run!

Back and ready to grow up!
Ok, it's done!

Thank you for putting up with my silliness today!  I'm always amazed
at how different the world looks to little children.  Every once in a while
I like to get down on my knees and look at the world ......and I'll
admit it is getting harder and harder to get back up!  Have a wonderful
day!

Love,
Lottie

Pink Saturday - French Lovers

Welcome to Pink Saturday!

This is a ceramic planter that I bought a few months ago in an
antique shop.  I thought it was beautiful!  When I saw these two
lovers ... I call them French Lovers, I fell in love with love again!

And every morning when the alarm goes off and I wake up to
flip on the light, I see the French Lovers are still in love!

Happy Pink Saturday!  Thank you Beverly at
How Sweet the Sound for hosting Pink Saturday.
For some awesome pictures of spring,
visit with Melanie at The Old White Cottage.

A Walk in the Yard

When I come home from work everyday at 4 pm, I like to walk
around the yard a little and see what's blooming.  Would you
like to join me this afternoon?

Here is a nice bench to rest a spell and look over the buttercups.

Something pink is blooming.  I have forgotten the name but I love
the color pink!

Buttercups are everywhere!

Hello Elizabeth!  I see you hiding!

And, of course, it becomes a lovely
walk when I visit with my dear sweet
neighbor. Ruth is 90 years old and a
very wise lady!  She shows me her
beans popping up in her garden.

Thank you for joining me for a walk
in the yard.  It's time to go in now
and fix supper.  Tonight is a special
night as it is my son's 28th birthday!

And thankfully, spring is here!  Even the pansies are happy!

Have a great week!
Love,
Lottie
